SeeClickFix New Britain is now sharing space on our front page. SeeClickFix is a startup based in New Haven that offers a great service for identifying neighborhood issues in order to get them fixed. Vote on the issues that matter to you in order to raise awareness and work towards a more beautiful place to live.

Share your favorite pages from New Britain Wiki on Twitter using the 'Tweet' button on every page now. Let everyone know when you've added content by tweeting your changes!

Community Central now has a page on New Britain Wiki, as well as ParaDYM, the media company run by New Britain resident Dpierre. At the first 'Edit Party' at Community Central this past Sunday the tag 'Art Venue' was introduced as a way to organize spaces here in New Britain to view art. See a list of all pages tagged 'Art Venue,' and a map here. Pretty cool.

Templates have been added and modified to make the creation of pages easier and nicer looking. Details are now listed to the right, under the map (if you choose to add one).

We now have a To Do page. This is a list of efforts New Britain Wiki contributors would like to see happen on the site. The first item on the list was to make our front page more inviting, which has been crossed off.

Philip Neustrom, co-founder of Localwiki created a flyer that explains the vision of the project quite nicely. Residents in Oakland and Davis, CA has done an impressive job creating sites for their communities. Take a moment to see what a great localwiki site looks like.

On Feb 24, we would like to host an editing party for New Britain Wiki at the library. Everyone is welcome to bring their computers for a lesson on how to edit the site, and how to make New Britain Wiki useful for yourself. Are you interested?
